Social Care Worker / Support Worker — Cork Day Services

Support people with physical or intellectual disabilities and/or autism through meaningful activities and community participation.

  • Mayfield, Millstreet and Monahan Road, Cork
  • Full-time
  • Eight-hour shifts between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday.

Role essentials

What you’ll need

  • Permission to work in Ireland and a full clean driving licence
  • Support Worker: QQI Level 5 major award in Health or Social Care, or at least two modules with commitment to complete
  • Social Care Worker: BA/QQI Level 7 in Social Care or sufficiently relevant qualification
  • Social Care Worker applicants must be registered with CORU

  • Support daily living activities, mobility needs and personal goals
  • Promote meaningful community participation and independence
  • Contribute to care plans and advocate for service users
  • Maintain accurate activity reports and support records
